Uncle's Comment: Certainly the anecdotal evidence is that the Foreign Office is much less helpful than other Embassies.The withdrawal of Consular services from Sofia to Dusseldorf, was an expensive inconvenience.Now services are centred in the UK.With the swingeing Coalition cuts the F.O. is an easy target.It is Brits abroad who pay the price.
