Bulgarian airports are enjoying an unprecedented boom .
Sofia airport alone recorded a 14 % growth in the 8 months up to September. and in that month Ryan Air opened its new hub at the airport, this will push all year growth above 15%.
Bourgas and Varna are recording 23 % and 21 % growth. A record 7.5 million passengers passed through all the airports last year.
Bourgas actually gets more passengers than Sofia in Summer, as visits to the former Red Riviera (also known as the Black Sea), increase massively.
This is part of an increasing pattern of more flights to Eastern Europe.Budget airlines are leading the drive.
