It was with sadness that a few weeks ago I learnt of the closure of the Frontier Times,Bulgaria's second English language newspaper.Produced in Veliko Turnovo by a young and dedicated Anglo-Bulgaria staff it was funny, thought provoking and genuinely informative.I actually wrote articles for it myself.
The problem was that they could not get people to pay the princely sum of 2 lev for it !.The newspaper was a real asset to the english speaking community and it appears that tightfistedness has led to its demise.
