We get quite a few enquiries about the price of everyday things in Bulgaria, from people thinking to move/live out here.I thought I would give you an outline of what they cost:
Milk 70p 0.5L
Bread 40p
Beer 45p based upon 0.5L bottle
Chicken £2.50 (whole)
Electric £20 a month
Rates £20 a year
Water £5 a month
Gas none outside the big cities
Wood £300 based upon 10m3 for heating for the winter
Car Insurance £80 third party per year
Wine £2.50 a bottle
Petrol 90p
* Exchange Rate £1=2.33lv
I would add that this is based upon CBA Supemarket prices, and local conditions in my area.Others may vary slightly.
